Tubie is included in touchscreen panels as part of the updated Supercomputing Exhibit at the Bradbury Science Museum.

For her summer internship, Becca Sharp refined a prototype developed with a microcontroller and neopixels for the Breath Taking Exhibit at the New Mexico Museum of Art. The title wall text is designed to mimic the rhythm of the breath.

New Mexico Museum of Art, Website for Alcoves Exhibits

Vaughn Allen, with faculty advisement from Rianne Trujillo, created a web-based archive of the in-gallery touchscreen for New Mexico Museum of Art’s Alcove shows 2012-2020. The brochure contains animal illustrations, activities, and features the museum’s mascot, Biff Beaver. Naomi is currently still working at the Roswell Museum where she plans on completing five redesigns of collection maps for the Aston.

While working at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) in Socorro, New Mexico, intern Naomi Padilla  completed many design projects. There she made a Jansky lecture poster series, completed a t-shirt design, and drew a mascot to represent the NRAO’s Very Large Array, a huge assortment of telescopes that detect radio waves from space.
