During the three week educational collaboration between The Girls Scouts of New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands University Department of Media Arts & Technology, and The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, young women in grades 6-12 will explore the intersections of art, design and technology. They will have the opportunity to learn photography, poster and publication design, computer programming, and 3-D printing. The program is meant to take STEAM education to the next level with hands-on learning in an environment where participants will see the real-world applications of their newly developed creative skills.
